In addition to a wide selection of music and an awesome festival atmosphere, the audience can also learn about the everyday life of a traditional Țara Călatei village. Beyond the stream, in the orchard, the chillzone awaits the visitors of the festival with hammocks, and children can enjoy a full-day program. The festival puts a great emphasis on authentic environment, sustainability and family atmosphere this year, as well.
Here again, one can participate in programs that have already proven in the Folk Yards of popular festivals that folk tradition is fun for any age group, at any time; there will be storytelling, handicraft workshops and playground, dance and singing lessons, ethnographic performances, children’s performances, and, of course, the inevitable folk pubs until dawn.
A special partner of the program is the Hungarian Heritage House.
The II. First Violinists’ Competition of Kalotaszeg will be organized on 2 August, 2019 within the framework of the Festival.
